Armed with a degree in Environmental and Natural Resources Engineering from Purdue University, and 13 years of engineering experience, Jacob has focused his engineering expertise in the area of water resources and on making an impact on the world.

Vera Aqua Vera Vita, the nonprofit he founded in 2017, aims to provide clean water and sanitation solutions to communities in developing countries. Through this initiative, and with his leadership roles in other entrepreneurial ventures, and his personal commitment to community, Jacob exemplifies how action can bring about meaningful change. He is driven by the call we all have to greatness and desires to inspire others to seek their purpose and unique greatness, too!

Above and beyond all, Jacob’s identity rests in being a son of God, a husband to his wife Fernanda, and a father to their four children, as he strives to live by and inspire others with the words of Howard Thurman: “Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.”

Jacob will be inspiring us with a message of steadfastness, and persistence through the challenges of cold calling and starting and growing a business from scratch with a lot of passion!
